Mixed Berry Trifle

Ingredients

  • 1 Angle food cake

  • One small jar of strawberry jam

  • 2 small baskets of strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, or berries in season

  • 2 containers of whip cream

  • fresh mint

 

Steps

  1. Slice angel food cake into squares

  2. Slice strawberries in halves and set aside

  3. Microwave the jam until bubbling

  4. Begin to layer starting with whip cream at the bottom of trifle bowl

  5. Place angel food to cover whip cream

  6. Spread evenly the strawberry jam on the angel food

  7. Add a layer of the strawberries and blueberries to cover the angel food

  8. Repeat and top the final layer of whip cream with strawberries around the edges and garnish with fresh mint
